The profiles below provide information about their current status within the Unihead Group organisation.
Dr. Frank Odoom (Chairman)
Dr Frank Odoom is a renowned Actuary, Mathematician and an Insurance Expert. He is the immediate past Director-General of the Social Security & National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) in Ghana. As Board member, he directly advises on all investment opportunities brought to the company and leads in the analysis, modeling and structuring of all potential opportunities.
Professor Paul Buatsi (Vice Chairman)
Professor Paul N. Buatsi, Founder and Managing Consultant of Omega Strategic Resources Ltd., Partner of SMC University (an online accredited university) in Ghana and Executive Director for Africa, International Leadership Foundation. An organisation which trains leaders of integrity for holistic societal transformation.
He holds a B.A. (Hons) in Geography, an MBA (Marketing) from the University of Ghana and a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Marketing/International Marketing) from Manchester Business School, University of Manchester, U.K. He is a Marketing and International Business expert with extensive experience in academia, business, public policy and educational consulting; agriculture; and the development and marketing of the creative arts.
He was the Coordinator of Marketing and International Business in the School of Business at Florida A&M University; Coordinator of International Business and Research Director of the Hofstra University/Long Island Export Council Export Development Program at Hofstra University’s Business School, New York; Coordinator of the Management Unit and the Danida Centre for International Business at the University of Ghana Business School; the Founding Dean of the KNUST School of Business at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana; and Dean of the Graduate School of Business, Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, after which he was seconded to the Ministry of Education (Ghana) as the Consultant/Acting Chief Director.
Prof. Buatsi is a founding Fellow and past President of the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants (Ghana) and the West African Federation of Institutes of Management Consultants, a Director of the International Society for Marketing & Development, member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing-Ghana, The International Association of African Business and Development and The HUMLOG Group (HUMLOG Institute at the Hanken Swedish School of Economics and Business Administration, Helsinki, Finland).
Prof. Buatsi has been a consultant to several public and private sector organisations and NGOs at local and international levels. Since 2012, He has been the Board Chairman of the National Board for Professional and Technician Examinations (Ghana); Board Chairman of Agribusiness in Sustainable African Plant Products (ASNAPP) since 2006; a member of the National Accreditation Board (Ghana) since 2012; Council Member, Ghana Baptist University College (Ghana) since 2012; Member, Doctoral Committee, International Leadership University (Nairobi, Kenya) since 2012; and Global Board of the International Leadership Foundation since 2012.
Prof. Buatsi has also served the following boards and councils: Ghana Education Trust Fund (GET Fund), Students Loan Trust Fund (Ghana); Ministerial Advisory Council, Ministry of Education (Ghana); Ministerial Advisory Council, Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning (Ghana); National Council for Tertiary Education (Ghana); Ghana Education Service (GES) Council; West African Examinations Council; Council Member, University of Education, Winneba (Ghana); Representative of the Ministry of Education on the Ghana Integrated Financial Management Information System (GIFMIS) Board; and Subcommittee on National Export Strategy for Ghana, Ministry of Trade and Industry (Ghana).
Albert Campbell Duncan (Director)
Albert Duncan is an IT specialist with over 20 years’ experience in Administration and Networking. Also, has over 16 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Worked with Wizcom Systems, an Internet Service provider as the CEO for a period of 5 years. Wizcom Systems provided dial-up and wireless internet services in the Tema Metropolis.
In addition, Albert works with ECOO Graphix a digital imaging systems provider with offices in Canada, China, and the United States. He does sales and after-sales support for West Africa in all their product lines from digital machines and consumables.
Mr. Benjamin Gomado-Cobblah (Director)
Benjamin is an Education Economist and currently the CEO of Unihead Group Limited. He is responsible for defining and delivering strategic end to end policy direction for the company. Currently, Benjamin is a part-time lecturer at Westminster Kingsway College – UK and also consultant to the JS Group and The Higher Education Academy, UK.
Benjamin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education & Development from Huddersfield University, UK, a Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching – (PGCE) from Christ Church Canterbury University, UK, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Birkbeck College, University of London, UK and a Master’s Degree in Educational Planning, Economics and International Development from University College London (UCL), UK. He recently completed a Post Graduate Certificate course in International Human Right Law and Practice with the London School of Economics (LSE)–UK.He consults for a number of institutions and works closely with the Danish Technological Institute-DTI, Institute of Financial Services - UK, University of East London, UK and Cranfield Energy (US & Ghana) as well as undertaking various international researches within Education and Training. Benjamin started his career as a Teacher in 1998 with University Practice School (South Campus) in Winneba-Ghana. He is currently the Country Director for the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council, CWEIC and has over 20 years worked in various organisations but specifically within the Education and International Development Sectors.
Kwasi Blay
Foster Tetevi (Director)
Foster, a Chartered Accountant broadly experienced in corporate finance, project management, taxation, and human resources management and does possesses excellent interpersonal and communications skills. He has through the past ten years of working in diverse sectors built great relationships with private and government and corporate institutions.
Foster was the country finance manager for IS Internet Solutions Ghana Limited until August 2014. He was charged with the overall financial and strategic planning and compliance with all regulatory requirements. He was instrumental in transforming IS Internet Solutions from a loss-making entity into a profitable business. IS Ghana has doubled its turnover in three years during his tenure.
Foster spearheaded a three-year strategic plan that culminated in the parent company committing to invest $12million in the Ghana business over the next 3 years. Prior to joining IS Internet Solutions Ghana Limited, he was the Finance and Administration Manager of RPS Engineering Services GH. Limited. He managed a budget worth US$11 Million. He is credited for successfully migrating the internet solutions accounting system from base pastel unto oracle e-business Suite of RPS Engineering Services GH Ltd.
He successfully initiated and negotiated for a US$ 4.5million dollar loan for the execution of the turnkey project for MTN and Ghana Telecom GSM cell site constructions. Foster is skilled in investment planning policy and was part of the team that designed and computerized Dalex Finance and Leasing Company Accounting System.
